Padmasambhava[note 1] (lit. "Lotus-Born"), also known as the Second Buddha, was a sageguru from Oddiyana, northwestern Classical India (in the modern-day Swat Valley of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan). Padmasambhava is said to have transmitted Vajrayana Buddhism to Tibet, Bhutan and neighboring countries in the 8th century AD. In those lands, he is better known as Guru Rinpoche (lit. "Precious Guru") or Lopon Rinpoche,[1] or as Padum in Tibet,[2] where followers of the Nyingma school regard him as the second Buddha.[3][note 2] He is, moreover, considered to have been an emanation of Buddha Amitabha, Shakyamuni Buddha, and Kuan Yin Bodhisattva. The most definitive source on Padmasambhava's life is the Padma bKa'i Thang,[6] said to be discovered in 1346 CE by UrgPre orderPrice 1 851.81 $ / ks without VAT 1 530.42 $ / ksks DetailRare Masterpiece Thanka 1000 Hands Avalokiteśvara Thangka with Silk Embroidery
Avalokiteśvara (Sanskrit: अवलोकितेश्वर lit. "Lord who looks down") is a bodhisattva who embodies the compassion of all Buddhas. Portrayed in different cultures as either male or female, Avalokiteśvara is one of the more widely revered bodhisattvas in mainstream Mahayana Buddhism, as well as unofficially in Theravada Buddhism. The original name for this bodhisattva was Avalokitasvara. The Chinese name Guānshìyīn Púsà (觀世音菩薩) is a translation of the earlier name "Avalokitasvara Bodhisattva." This bodhisattva is variably depicted as male or female, and may also be referred to simply as Guānyīn. In Sanskrit, Avalokitesvara is also referred to as Padmapāni ("Holder of the Lotus") or Lokeśvara ("Lord of the World"). In Tibetan, Avalokiteśvara is known as Chenrezig, སྤྱན་རས་གཟིགས་ (Wylie: spyan ras gzigs) and is said to emanate as the Dalai Lama,Pre orderPrice 925.88 $ / ks without VAT 765.19 $ / ksks DetailRare Thanka 8 manifestacion Guru Padmasambhava with silk embroidery

Jiné prameny do té doby nejsou známy. Některými badateli tak bývá někdy zpochybňován jako historická osobnost. Život Podle tradice se narodil v království Udjána, což je oblast v dnešním Pákistánu. Oženil se s dcerou tamějšího krále. Údajně měl schopnost zapamatovat všechno učení a texty, které byly i jen jednou vyřčeny v jeho přítomnosti. To mu zajistilo pověst učence mezi buddhistickými mnichy. Později cestoval do Tibetu, kde založil školu Ňingmapa.Pre orderPrice 740.69 $ / ks without VAT 644.08 $ / ksks Detail
